Come As You Are, Leave As Someone New
The Rosemark church of Christ stands by the motto “Come as you are and leave as someone new.” This principle comes straight from the scriptures. Jesus interacted with people from different walks of life but He shared the same soul saving message with everyone. That pattern continued after Jesus left this earth and it remains today. We will receive anyone with open arms and share the truth of the soul saving gospel. We want anyone to come the way they are but desire they leave as a new creation in Christ (2nd Corinthians 5:17 & Galatians 6:15).
What We Believe
The Rosemark church of Christ is apart of The Lord’s church as found in the scriptures. We aim to follow the bible and the bible alone. When God brought the Gospel to the world, He expected for people to obey it. With this expectation came a few simple steps laid out in the Scriptures. First, one must hear the Word of God (Rom. 10:14-17). After hearing, one must believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (John 8:24; Acts 16:30-31). This belief must be confessed openly (Acts 8:37), for there were many that believed, but did not confess Him (John 12:42). After the confession, repentance must be clear (Luke 13:3; Acts 2:38), as the Christian life requires a change in life (2 Cor. 5:17). Next is baptism in water for the remission of sins (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38). In baptism, the old man is put away and a person dedicates himself to a faithful new life in Christ (Rom. 6:1-4; 1 John 1:7-9).
Always An Open Chair
The Rosemark church of Christ places a large value upon studying the bible. We enjoy sitting around a table and studying from the word of God. This setting allows people to be relaxed, ask questions, make points, and overall be involved in the study. There will always be an open seat for anyone who would like to sit down and study God’s word with us.
